Why doesn't the Fiido Air come with a speed display?

The Fiido Air is designed with an ultra-minimalist and lightweight approach, aiming to create a nearly invisible e-bike with only essential components like front and rear lights. To maintain this clean design, the speed is displayed on the connected smartwatch.

Why are there lights if it's completely invisible?

The front and rear lights are included to comply with safety regulations.

If the fingerprint lock malfunctions, what should I do?

No need to worry. The fingerprint lock components are easy to replace. Additionally, you can start the Fiido Air using the smartwatch or the app, ensuring your ride remains uninterrupted.

What if there is water on the fingerprint surface and I can't start it?

We’ve tested this scenario thoroughly. Simply wipe the water off the sensor with your hand, and the device should work normally. If you prefer, you can disable the fingerprint feature and use it as a regular power button. However, using the fingerprint feature ensures that only you can use the bike.

How can I start it if the fingerprint is damaged?

You can also start the bike using the smartwatch or the app, so you're never left stranded.

How do I adjust the seat height?

There's an adjustment mechanism under the seat post. The seat height can be adjusted between 92 cm and 101 cm (36.2 in to 39.8 in) to suit your comfort.

Why can't I achieve the advertised range?

The advertised range is based on flat terrain, ECO mode, and a temperature of 25°C (77°F), with a rider weight of 75 kg (165 lbs), under which some riders have achieved over 100 km (62 miles). Differences in riding conditions and modes, such as TURBO mode, can significantly affect the range. We've conservatively estimated the range to reflect these variables.

Why isn't the AIR equipped with removable batteries?

The design philosophy of the Fiido Air emphasizes extreme lightness and simplicity. A removable battery would add extra weight, which would contradict this goal. After careful consideration of the bike’s weight, structure, and performance, we opted for a non-removable battery design.

What's the special about torque sensing?

The Fiido Air utilizes a Mivice motor, a torque sensing system, and Fiido's exclusive torque algorithm to instantly measure your pedaling power and provide real-time assistance, offering the most intelligent and effortless riding experience.

How many levels are in power assist mode? And what're their difference?

Fiido Air offers two power assist modes: Normal and Sport, tailored to your cycling preferences. Normal mode provides a balanced power output for everyday riding, while Sport mode delivers enhanced power and speed for a more dynamic experience.

What are the advantages of connecting my bike to the Fiido Mate smartwatch or Fiido app?

The Fiido Air is designed to offer a more scientific and healthier cycling experience. Connecting to the Fiido Mate or app allows you to start the bike effortlessly and monitor real-time fitness data like heart rate and blood oxygen during your ride. Additionally, you can share and exchange cycling insights with enthusiasts worldwide.

Can the battery be removed?

The battery can be removed, but frequent removal is not recommended to protect the bike’s design. If you need to charge the battery separately, we suggest purchasing an extender battery for added convenience.

What if I need a spare battery?

No problem! We will soon launch an extender battery specifically for the Fiido Air. It's easy to install and will double your cruising range and riding time.

Can Fiido Air be equipped with the mudguard, kickstand, and rear rack?

Yes, mudguards and kickstands are currently available for purchase. While the rear rack isn't available yet, the frame has reserved mounting holes for future installation.

Do I need to insure this E-bike?

Insurance policies vary by country. We recommend consulting your local insurance provider to confirm whether purchasing insurance is necessary.

Can I install a bottle cage?

Yes, here are the standard specifications:
