Mileage Benchmark

Chain elongation typically occurs between 2,000–2,500 km under typical e-bike torque conditions. In rough environments such as mud, rain, and dust, wear can happen even faster. If your rides are mostly smooth city commutes and you maintain your drivetrain well, up to 3,000 km may still be acceptable before replacement. That's why most experts recommend replacing your e-bike chain every 2,000 to 3,000 km, adjusting earlier if you frequently ride uphill, carry heavy loads, or accelerate aggressively.
